By definition, there can only be one “BEST”. Our staff is anchored by “master meatcutters” with literally hundreds of years of combined experience. With that knowledge as a base, we have dedicated ourselves to finding that “best” in each category of product we sell. We are not interested in cute names, adjectives that mean nothing at all, or any other marketing ploys. We offer quality to those who know and appreciate it.

Our philosophy is that, since we all need to eat, we should do it well, and we should ENJOY it. We also realize that the more knowledge you have about any subject, the more enjoyment you receive. We are serious cooks ourselves, and we thrive on sharing our knowledge with all of you . Cooking may be a necessity, but it’s also fun!

If you are trying something new, bring the recipe in. We would love to review it for you. Recipes from the internet, magazines, and even cookbooks often contain errors in cut selection, cooking times, etc. Over the decades, we have saved many a meal. We regularly offer hand-selected USDA PRIME and CHOICE Midwestern beef, Choice domestic lamb, formula-fed veal, Berkshire (kurobuta) pork, free-range poultry, turduckens, game, homemade sausages, seafood, full-service deli (at Siesel’s only), and a wide variety ofmarinated items. To add to your experience, we also offer fine wines, spices, pastas, condiments, and a huge selection of barbecue and meat sauces. Can’t find that critical ingredient? Contact us.
